Editorial policy

Updated 22 Oct 2026

FreeStuff writes what a person can get, what it costs, and when the page was last checked. A reward is free only when you pay nothing, or nothing beyond ordinary postage. A prize draw is a chance to win. A trial is free only until it renews. A discount is not free.

How we verify

An editor opens the brand’s own page or app and writes the terms, the cost, and the date on the offer. The card uses those words. A needs-verification flag in the content file is for editors and is not printed as a badge. A logo on this site is not a check. Confirm the current reward in the app. The words on a card are defined on How we label offers.

No spam

If you sign up, we store the email you submit so we can send the alerts you asked for. We do not sell that list. What else is stored is on the privacy policy. Opening an official link is counted on that offer so the page can say how many people left for the brand’s site. That count starts at zero.

Ratings

Each offer asks whether it worked and for a 1 to 5 star rating. With no votes, the page says to be the first. We do not seed a score. Star markup is added to the page only after a real rating is stored. A member-count strip near the home hero stays off unless it is explicitly turned on, and even then it is labelled a placeholder and shows no number.
