How we label offers

Free means you pay nothing. Everything else gets the name of what it actually is.

Free
You pay nothing. Ordinary postage counts only when it was not inflated to hide a price.
Free to join
The account is free. The reward is free when the app says you pay nothing to redeem it. A required purchase is not free.
Prize draw
A chance to win. It is not a free gift card, a free house, or a cheque. FreeStuff does not enter you.
Trial
Free only until it renews. The price after that has to be visible before you start.
Not free
A discount, a paid box, or a deal that still costs money. We do not call it a freebie.

The date on the card

Updated is the day the listing was written. It is not a promise that the reward is unchanged today. Birthday items, sample campaigns, and sweepstakes rules live in the brand’s app or on the official rules page. Read that page before you join, travel, or enter.

Editors keep a needs-verification flag in the content files. It is not printed on the card. The words on the card are the label. How a listing is checked is on the editorial policy.
