A free day out means entry that does not need a ticket. National museums in London are the clearest examples: the permanent collections of the British Museum, Tate Modern, and the National Gallery are free. Special exhibitions are not.
Parks, civic markets, and festivals need their own check. A listing belongs here when the venue's page says entry is free for the date you are going.
The permanent collections are free on the days they are open. Hours change, and exhibitions can still charge. Check the morning you go.
The hub is national. Local pages are added when an editor has a venue, not a swapped city name.
